The name Bass Culture serves as an umbrella term for the impact of Jamaican styles and practices over the last six decades. Journey with us through exclusive footage and memories; essential viewing for anyone with a passion for music. This project was commissioned by Mykaell Riley from The University of Westminster as part of the Bass Culture Research Project and is in partnership with the Black Music Research Unit, the first ever major academic examination of this dominant cultural force.
